Plantefarvet garn og guldklumper /Plantdyed yarn and gems

-The dress from my last post is finished, just needs a wash and dry before I can show you some pictures. Here is the beginning of my cardigan in plantdyed yarn. I think it will be good. The plan is now to knit the sleeves next and then go on with the body for as long as the yarn lasts, I want to use it all up. It´s thin one-ply icelandic wool and the yellow on the left is dyed with the skin of ordinary yellow onions, you know, the kind you use for cooking. The yarn on the right are these plants: Parmelia Saxatius, Anthriscus and then Cetraria Islandica together with cow piss. Yes, you read it right, my yarn has been lying in a bath of urine! I knit with two strands and change one colour at a time, randomly.
-And lastly a couple of photos of the gems (the grandchildren).
