-My best friend´s sister has 4 children. I´m not so close to the family as to being a frequent visitor in their home, but since these children spend a lot of time at their aunt´s place I have followed them since they were born. So when the oldest girl was confirmated 2 years ago I knitted and felted a bag for her. Last year it was the twins´ turn (a boy and a girl) and I meant to give them some small thing, but for some reason I never got around to it. A couple of weeks ago the youngest girl was confirmated (yes, they got 4 children in 3 years!) I thought that it has to be now! This family is very much into outdoors activities, they ski in the winter and go mountain-hiking in the summer, so I thought that these kids could always use a warm, woollen hat. Now I have knitted hats for all three of them, they just need a spin in the washer and then they will be delivered.

-Knitted from various DK weight, 100% superwash wool on needles size US 5.

-When I started the white and black hat I accidentally cast on too few stitches, but when I discovered it I decided to finish it anyway. It will go into the gift chest, and probably will end up in a christmas or birthday present for some younger child.
